Salad company Fresh Express is recalling some of its salad products because of a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes (mono-cy-toe-gen-eez). The Salinas-based company and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have announced a voluntary recall of 2,825 cases of Veggie Lovers Salad. The salad being recalled has a product code of I208 and use-by date of August 10.
